About Me

Shandra Kay is a multi-medium Artist based out of Las Vegas, NV.

She was born with a love for all things creative, primarily in the visual arts. At a very young age, she sought an outlet for her creativity, by "redrawing" her favorite pictures. This in turn, prompted her Grandfather to teach her the basic skills of oil painting. Her father's interest in computers influenced a desire to use the computer as another way to express herself visually.

Throughout her years of high school and college, she has placed her attention on Still Life portraits of people, the realms of fantasy, and many of her works of art have been inspired by Asian art styles and concepts, and thereby, has acquired an interest for all cultures.

College taught her a different perspective in Design and Advertisement. She has come to know that art and design can impact people in a variety of ways.

Shandra Kay also has a love for Interior Design, Culinary Arts, and Gaming Designs, all of which clamor for her attention. She has studied Commercial Art with a Science Emphasis in the College of Southern Nevada and in the future will include other avenues.

My Mediums

I bore easily and like to to take my creativity to different avenues.

As a result, I use several different mediums. I started to draw since I was little, which inspired my grandfather to teach me how to oil paint.
My father introduced me to the art of digital mastering, and fell in love with inking during school.
